| What We Do
Our Purpose
The Fund for Children is a grass roots charity that provides Financial Assistance for medical needs of children with hearing and speech disorders under the age of 19. In complement to Financial Assistance, the charity provides funding for programs that address the needs of children with hearing and speech disorders. Our donors know that through their on-going support, they are making a real and measurable difference in the lives of countless children in need. Many children have benefited, but much work remains to be done.
| Who We Are
Elks of Canada
The Fund for Children is the national charity of The Elks of Canada. It was originally established so members of the Elks of Canada had a national instrument to complement their local charitable and community service efforts. The national charity provides a unified focus and objective for the members and is a great source of pride among Elk Lodges across the country.
The Fund for Children’s head office is located in Regina, Saskatchewan and is overseen by staff and the National Charities Committee. The National Charities Committee is responsible for the overall operation and condition of the National Charity — The Fund for Children. In partner with The Elks of Canada they direct the Fund and its programs.
